The Mosquito Service Provider for the City of Winnemucca and Humboldt County, VDCI, will soon begin aerial missions targeting mosquito larvae in standing water in the Humboldt River basin.The product is biorational larvicide that is target specific to mosquitoes and other Dipterans (Flies) and poses no risk to people or the environment. Aerial Missions will begin the week of May 21st and continue as needed throughout the season.

Targeted Ground ULV (Fogging) will also commence the week of May 21st for areas impacted by adult mosquitoes and will continue throughout the season.
