FULL STORY:  There’s a certain “Friends” quote that people still yell at David Schwimmer . . . and it can be pretty jarring.  It’s obviously gonna be one of two things:  Either “We were on a break,” or “Pivot!”

And while he no doubt gets a ton of “We were on a break,” the one people are really aggressive about is “Pivot!”

David says, quote, “I get a lot of random people shouting ‘pivot’ at me.  Sometimes it’s startling.  But also it’s just a reminder that the series lives on.”

He adds that hearing people tell him how much the show meant to them makes him feel, quote, “really grateful and blessed to have done something that people find fun.”
