Delivery Drivers, Marathon Runners, and Stranded Raccoons

Here are a few more Good News stories making the rounds . . .

1. A DoorDash driver’s car broke down the other day in Deptford, New Jersey, near Philly. So a cop stepped in and finished their delivery for them. He said he just knew “nobody wants cold Chick-fil-A.” (Here are photos.)

2. Footage from the Boston Marathon is going viral after a runner stopped right before the finish line to help another runner who fell.

The guy who stopped is a Brazilian runner named Pedro Arieta. He’d set a goal to finish in 2 hours and 40 minutes, and he would have done it. He ended up finishing in just over 2 hours and 41 minutes but said he has no regrets. (Here’s the video.)

3. Officials in Huntington, West Virginia rescued a raccoon that got stranded on the side of a building for several days. They finally went up to get it on Tuesday.

It squirmed away from the guy who caught it and FELL a couple of stories. But it scurried off, so apparently it’s okay. A bunch of people were watching from their offices, and said the whole rescue was very dramatic.
