Here are a few more Good News stories making the rounds . . .
1. A student at East Tennessee State is in the news because she got a full ride to college thanks to Taco Bell. She worked there for two years and applied for the scholarship program they offer employees.
She got $10,000 her first year, and a total of 40 GRAND by her senior year. With the financial aid she also qualified for, she’s graduating debt-free next month.
She posted a video thanking people, because a lot of the Taco Bell money came from customers rounding up their change at the drive-thru. So if you’ve ever done that and wondered if it makes a difference, yes it can.

2. A group of 40 house painters helped out a woman near Vancouver who’s fighting cancer. They showed up at her house last Friday and repainted the whole thing for free. It’s part of a charity effort that trains new workers and helps people out at the same time.
3. A woman in the U.K. had an old, broken flower pot in her yard that looked worthless, but it wasn’t. It turned out it was made by an artist named Hans Coper, who fled Germany during World War Two. Even though it’s in two pieces, it just sold at auction for $66,000.
