FULL STORY:  This is why companies insist on tracking productivity . . .

A new report found the average employee wastes an incredible amount of time on activities that have nothing to do with their job.

The biggest time waster is streaming stuff or watching TV.  And young people are the biggest culprits.

The average Gen Z’er watches just under 236 hours of TV a year while they’re on the clock.  Or almost 10 days’ worth.

Based on the average hourly wage of $35 an hour, that’s $8,241 worth of time spent watching TV.

For Gen X’ers, it’s just under $7,000 a year.  And Millennials spend the least amount of time watching TV at work, just $3,857 a year.

We waste time on other stuff too.  The top time-wasters at work include watching TV . . . playing games . . . socializing . . . browsing the internet . . . and just relaxing or daydreaming.
